Safer Dating: Privacy, Boundaries and Reporting
Your boundaries are yours
You do not owe anyone a meeting, a reply or intimacy. Gifts, money and profile labels do not imply consent. You can end a conversation at any time.
Verification has limits
Email verification only confirms access to an email address. Profiles and photos are currently approved automatically. Approval does not establish identity, age, wealth or intentions. Take time to get to know someone and be cautious about promises or pressure.
Protect your money and personal information
Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency or banking credentials to people you meet online. Requests for a fee to release a payment or prove trust are warning signs. Keep phone numbers and social media handles out of your profile.
Meet on your own terms
Choose a public place, arrange your own transport and let a trusted person know your plans. Leave if you feel uncomfortable. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services; the platform is not an emergency service.
Use the reporting tools
Open a profile to block or report a member. In a conversation, press and hold a message to report it. The reported message or photo can be reviewed by an authorised administrator. Automated text checks may make mistakes; contact support to request a review.
What is not allowed
Threats, harassment, scams and advertising or arranging paid sexual services are prohibited. Repeated or serious concerns may lead to temporary messaging restrictions or account suspension.
